BOB DYLAN Mr D’s Collection #2 (Mega Rare Japanese CBS Sony promotional only 4-track 7″ vinyl EP, featuring the legendary 1962 ‘electric’ B-side Mixed Up Confusion, a live version of Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues recorded live in Liverpool, CanYouPlease Crawl Out Your Window and George Jackson – Big Band Version. This single was the second promotional format to be issued in the series along with a CD [Volume 1] and LP [Volume 3]. With a unique custom picture sleeve including an illustrated 4-page insert with Japanese text biography and lyrics in both Japanese and English. The sleeve displays just a small amount of wear mostly to the edges, whilst the vinyl shows very little evidence of play. A fantastic example of this truly legendary Japanese rarity! YBPB3).
KING CRIMSON Red (Classic and very rare 1974 UK pink rim Island ‘palm tree’ label 5-track LP, for many fans the definitive mid period King Crimson album & highly influential to future prog-metallers, housed in a fully laminated picture sleevewith pinched spine & complete with its original light blue company inner. This is quite simply a glorious one previous owner copy. Both the sleeve & vinyl are in beautiful near mint condition. A wonderful copy of this classic! ILPS9308).
THE GENTLE RAIN / NICK INGMAN Moody (Rare 1973 UK 12-track vinyl LP, fully laminated picture sleeve. Highly sought after [and much sampled] crossover jazz longplayer arranged and conducted by Nick Ingman and featuring a stellar cast of Brit-jazzers and library musicians [Alan Hawkshaw, Kenny Wheeler, Brian Bennett, Toni Campo], it’s a set of [mainly] covers re-arranged with moody strings and jazz/funk beats throughout. The sleeve shows some laminate rippling but otherwise is Excellent, the vinyl looks barely played – this is the first copy we’ve ever had too!).
