Planet Rock to host The Lockdown Sessions

From Planet Rock.

Are you missing live gigs as much as we are?! Current events affecting the world have brought music concerts to a juddering standstill, so here at Planet Rock we thought we’d bring live music direct to YOU from the homes of some of your favourite rock artists.

With the help of our good friends at Audio Content Fund, Planet Rock is hosting The Lockdown Sessions on Saturday 11th April 2020 from 7pm until 10pm.

Broadcast live on Planet Rock, The Lockdown Sessions is a mini festival that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home without the need for wellies, camping, trudging through mud or queuing for toilets!

We’re extremely proud to announce that Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger, Ricky Warwick from Black Star Riders, Kris Barras, Planet Rock’s very own Toby Jepson, Samantha Fish and King King’s Alan Nimmo are among the artists who will be performing on Saturday.

All performances are recorded live and exclusively on Planet Rock!

Hear the full sessions on air this coming Saturday night from 7pm, with further online content released in the coming weeks.
