While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.
We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.
BLACK CROWES The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion (1992 Dutch 10-track LP, including the hit singles Sting Me & Remedy, picture sleeve with illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve shows minimal wear [light edge scuffing] & the vinyl isExcellent with merely a few faint cosmetic surface scuffs not affecting play. A great example!).
MARY HOPKIN Post Card (Limited Edition 1991 UK digitally remastered 18-track double LP for the album originally released by Apple in 1969, expanded to include a bonus 3-track vinyl 12″ of rarities, gatefold picture sleeve with detailed liner notes, exclusive pictures & discography. The cover shows minimal shelf wear & the vinyl discs appear near mint SAPCOR5).
VAN MORRISON The Best Of Van Morrison (Scarce 1990 UK 16-track vinyl compilation LP including Bright Side Of The Road, Gloria, Moondance and Brown Eyed Girl. The glossy picture sleeve has a little shelfwear visible and comes with the illustrated lyric inner while the vinyl appears barely played).
