Originally a product of Britain’s new romantic movement, their direction change to an alternative, darker synthesizer based sound, transformed Depeche Mode into one of the most influential electro-pop bands of the 1980s. Now, well over 20 years and hundreds of releases later , we’ve seen solo success for Dave Gahan and Martin Gore plus not forgetting one of the most talented musicians of our time, Vince Clarke.
