For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

FUGAZI In On The Kill Taker (1993 French 12-track LP, a US post-hardcore staple featuring ex-Minor Threat & Rites Of Spring legends. For many, this is one of the greatest Fugazi records, textured picture sleeve with illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve shows very little other than a little minor corner wear & the vinyl looks barely played, fabulous copy – “Essential listening” doesn’t even come close! DIS70V).
MEGADETH Youthanasia (Very rare 1994 UK limited edition 12-track LP pressed on Blue Vinyl, printed inner and gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside. The sleeve displays just a little light wear mostly to the edges whilst the vinyl looks barely played. An outstanding copy of this sought after pressing EST2244).
THUNDER Behind Closed Doors (1995 UK limited edition 12-track double LP set pressed on Red & Blue Vinyl. The the third album by English rock group featuring the singles Stand Up, Castles In The Sand and River Of Pain. Numbered gatefold picture sleeve complete with inner lyric sleeves. Apart from a small seam split to the top the sleeve is superb, the vinyl is immaculate with minimal sign of play EMD1076).
