Live albums are the order of the day with this weeks jazz rarities, including fantastic live performances from Sonny Rollins, Mike Osborne and Bobby Wellins.
Below are just some of the highlights, and you can see the full catalogue over at our Jazz Collectors Store.
SONNY ROLLINS Don’t Stop The Carnival (1978 UK 10-track double live LP, recorded in performance at the Great American Music Hall, San Francisco in April of 1978 with Donald Byrd, Mark Soskin, Aurell Ray, Jerry Harris and Tony Williams, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear and the vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with few signs of play M-55005).
MIKE OSBORNE TRIO All Night Long (1976 UK stereo LP recorded live at Willisau, Switzerland on 13 April 1975, with Harry Miller on bass & Louis Moholo on drums. The rarified Swiss air produced the best in the Osborne trio, with two excellent side-long recordings captured here. The fully laminated picture sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with few signs of play OG700).
BOBBY WELLINS QUARTET Live… Jubilation (1978 UK 4-track LP recorded live at Brighton Jazz Club on the 8th of June 1978, also featuring Peter Jacobson on Piano, Adrian Kendon on Bass & Spike Wells on Drums, picture sleeve. The sleeve shows alittle shelfwear and some age yellowing at the edges but the vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with few signs of play VS1).
