Rare and Collectable Ska/Rocksteady/Reggae vinyl now in stock

We have a wide range of ska/reggae titles in our store right now. Below are some of the LP album highlights:

Various-Reggae & Ska Ready Steady Go Rock Steady vinyl LP album (LP record) UK V-ALPRE731551

VARIOUS Ready Steady Go Rock Steady (Classic 1968 UK first press 14-track mono LP compilation on a rough textured light yellow Pama Special label with black print, featuring non stop boss tunes from Lynn Taitt, Alton Ellis, Ernest Ranglin, Lloyd Terrell & more. Comes complete with the lovely, original front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve [VG] has some not unexpected storage marks & scuffs to the laminate, with some ring wear & a few number annotations on the rear. The colours still shine & all text remains legible, despite some further blemishes on the back. The vinyl [VG+] is clean & plays very nice & clear on a mono setting with no distortion, just some light surface on occasion due to paper scuffs & the occasional light scratch not upsetting play PMLP3SP).

THE CRYSTALITES The Undertaker (1970 UK first press 12-track mono LP, on a rough textured orange & white Trojan label. Take a bunch of top notch JA musicians, keep them fed on a diet of good Reggae music & Spaghetti Westerns & this is the result! Derrick Harriott’s finest pull out all the punches as they knock out Version after Version with ‘John Jones’ [Bombshell] & Lloyd & Glen’s ‘That Girl’ [Biafra] in the mixing bowl, nestled side by side with the Van Cleef inspired ‘The Bad’ &the utterly bonkers ‘Dr Who [Pt. 1]’. The front laminated picture sleeve has a little light discolouring on the bottom back panel but otherwise appears in Excellent condition with just the odd faint corner crease. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition, revealing minimal signs of play. A Big Boss spinner which packs more heavyweight hits than Muhammad Ali!).

Jackie Edwards Put Your Tears Away vinyl LP album (LP record) UK JK4LPPU439091

JACKIE EDWARDS Put Your Tears Away (Rare original 1969 UK 12-track stereo LP on the rough textured pink Island label with black block ‘i’ logo, including the Northern Soul anthem I Feel So Bad plus Jackie’s own versions of the smash hits he penned for the Spencer Davis Group – Keep On Running & Somebody Help Me. The sleeve is front laminated & appears Very Good, with some marks to the laminate from age wear & no writing. The heavyweight vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition withonly a few minor paper scuffs to show play IWPS4).
