NEW AMERICAN ORCHESTRA Blade Runner (1982 German 8-track LP, featuring an orchestral adaptation of Vangelis’ music composed for Ridley Scott’s sci-fi masterpiece, as performed by The New American Orchestra. For 10 years, the only official wayto purchase the music created for Blade Runner was through this recreation of key themes from the score, produced and directed by Jack Elliott. Whilst not the original soundtrack, it was produced and released as the official album from the film. Vangelis’ original soundtrack recording wasn’t released until 1992. The sleeve shows only light signs of wear and the vinyl looks barely played FM99262).
