Down To Nothing, Refused, Strife, and more hardcore and punk vinyl now in stock

Once a regional thing, with pockets of bands coming out of New York, D.C, California, and Florida, hardcore has grown into a world wide phenomenon. It has splintered off into numerous sub genres, but the D.I.Y ethos of rallying against the ills of modern society are always going to be at the centre of hardcore.

It’s rare we see a lot of hardcore here, but not completely out of the ordinary. Below are just a few highlights, and you can find more hardcore and punk at eil.com.

Down To Nothing – Down To Nothing: 2003 US 3-track vinyl 7″, with wraparound picture sleeve, limited to just 239 copies on Red , Blue, and Mauve swirl coloured vinyl. Features 3-tracks from the Virginia straightedge bands debut album, Save It For The Birds. The sleeve shows only slight creasing to the top left hand corner, but the vinyl apears unplayed, remaning in near ‘asnew’ condition. Fast becoming one of the hardest Down To Nothing rarities to track down, and the first and only one we are likely to see.

Refused Rather Be Dead E.P. - RSD12 - Sealed 12" vinyl single (12 inch record / Maxi-single) Dutch YFK12RA689305

REFUSED Rather Be Dead E.P. (2012 Dutch pressed European 5-track vinyl 12″ issue of their 1996 EP released exclusively for Record Store Day, also including Jag Ater Inte Mina Vanner, Circle Pit, Lick It Clean and Voodoo People. The vinyl remains in BRAND NEW condition housed inside the illustrated picture sleeve which also appears in perfect condition sealed within the original shrinkwrap with a promo sticker across the barcode!).

Strife – Witness A Rebirth: 2012 UK issue 12-track vinyl LP, with gatefold picture sleeve, limited to just 300 COPIES on Black vinyl. The first album from Strife in 11 years after a long hiatus is nothing short of terrifying. The band have reverted back to their sound of seminal album In This Defiance, and have recruited former Sepultura drummr Igor Cavalera for this record. Fast metallic riffs, and breakdowns harder than most of what is defined as ‘hardcore’ these days, this album proves that your dont need to reinvent the wheel in hardcore, it doesnt need it, just play heavy, loud, and with passion. The sleeve and vinyl are in spectacular near ‘as new’ condtiion – For fans of Madball, Agnostic Front, Terror, and Hatebreed
