Blood Orange has announced the release of a new mixtape, Angels Pulse.
It follows on from Dev Hynes acclaimed 2018 album, Negro Swan, and will feature tracks Hynes has produced, performed and mixed himself.
“I have a habit through the years of making records that I just give to friends, or on tape to people on the street, or no one,” Hynes wrote in an accompanying statement. “Usually this material is made directly after the album I’ve just put out. Somewhat of an epilogue to the thing I’ve made before. This time.. I decided to release it.”

Angels Pulse will be released digitally on Friday July 12 ahead of Blood Orange supporting Florence and The Machine at BST Hyde Park on July 13.
