California punk band, Ceremony, have unveiled a video for their brand new track, Turn Away The Bad Thing.
It is yet another let turn for the band who have traversed everything from hardcore and power violence to post-punk and new wave, and the first music from Ceremony since their heart wrenching 2015 masterpiece, The L-Shaped Man.
“We knew this had to be the best thing we have ever done. We couldn’t come back after four years with a record that only had a few good songs… Not reflecting on the evolution of the band is what keeps us motivated,” lead guitarist Anthony Anzaldo says in a statement. “There is always a song we haven’t written, a band we haven’t played with, artwork we haven’t thought of. We are creators by nature, not by choice.”
Turn Away The Bad Thing is also the first single from their forthcoming album, In The Spirit World, which is released on August 23th and will be their first for Relapse Records. Pre-orders are available now.
