RAY RUSSELL Secret Asylum (Archive Quality Psychedelic Jazz 1973 UK first press 9-track LP on Black Lion – Freeform Guitar rivalled only by Derek Bailey & Sonny Sharrock, also starring the great Harry Beckett, an incredibly rare album to findon vinyl. The picture sleeve is front laminated with a light textured effect & both the sleeve & vinyl are Near Mint. A stunner!).
HOWARD RILEY Facets (Rare British Improv 1981 UK 13-track 3-LP box set, also starring Keith Tippett, Barry Guy & John Stevens, complete with the booklet nicely stapled inside a wraparound picture cover, as per release, all housed in a special12″ picture box. The box is Excellent with very little storage wear. On close inspection there is a thin 2″ horizontal hairline fracture to an inside edge. The vinyl discs are Excellent to Near Mint with very few signs of play IMP38002).
STAN TRACEY The 7 Ages Of Man (Wonderful 1970 UK 8-track stereo LP on a one EMI ‘box’ Columbia label, in the collectable Lansdowne Series. Released in between the equally revered Greek Variations [Neil Ardley et al] and Laurie Johnson’s Synthesis, Seven Ages Of Man fits perfectly among these series of high concept pieces in British jazz. Ronnie Ross, Tony Coe, Alan Skidmore and Frank Ricotti all star, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with Columbia catalogue inner. The sleeveis in excellent condition withjust a little light shelfwear to show for its age, whilst the labels are clean with just an odd sheen to the Side 1 label [possibly a manufacturing issue] and the vinyl is in Near Mint condition SCX6413).
