Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Radiohead, Teenage Fanclub, KLF and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.

Radiohead – Pablo Honey: 1993 UK 12-track vinyl LP, including Creep & Anyone Can Play Guitar, picture sleeve with illustrated credits inner. The sleeve shows minimal wear, whilst the vinyl has just a few faint hairline scuffs & appears barely played

Teenage Fanclub – Grand Prix: Rare 1995 UK Creation label limited edition 13-track vinyl LP featuring the singles Sparky’s Dream, Neil Jung and Mellow Doub plus the ‘Grand Prix Bonus Single’ vinyl 7″ which has only minor signs of play. The LP has a few surface scuffs evident but appears in otherwise VG condition complete with its picture / lyric inner housed in the glossy picture sleeve which has just minor shelfwear to the edges!

KLF – The White Room: 1991 UK 9-track vinyl LP including 3 a.m. Eternal, Last Train To Trancentral and What Time Is Love? song-hyped picture sleeve complete with illustrated credits inner. The sleeve is still in its opened shrinkwrap and the vinyl has just a few faint scuffs with little or no impact on play.
