Latest rock rarities and collectables, including Chicken Shack, Jethro Tull, Caravan and more

Trying to explain what exactly constitutes rock music could take a life time. It is one of the broadest genres, and can be given almost any prefix. Prog-rock, alt-rock, jazz-rock, punk rock, psych rock…. the list is endless. It has been the subject much discussion, and rock has even been declared dead on numerous occasions.

Judging by the amount of rare and collectable vinyl we see from almost every corner of the rock music lexicon, the genre is very much alive and well. Below are a few of the latest arrivals we have in stock, ready to find a place in your collection. You can search for your favourite artists in our store to see our full range.

Chicken Shack – 100 Ton Chicken: 1969 UK original 11-track STEREO LP produced by Mike Vernon for Blue Horizon, internal pocket gatefold picture sleeve. The matt sleeve shows only very minor spine wear/shelf wear with all colours remaining bright & vivid. The vinyl is superb with just some very light spindle wear to one side and the faintest of hairlines if held to the light. A wonderful copy of this highly coveted album, usually found wrecked – a great example of this known rarity £195

Jethro Tull – Songs From The Wood: 1977 UK first issue green label 9-track LP with ’10th Set’ matrices, a renowned Tull classic from their fabulous progressive-folk period, though this is folk like you’ve never heard, including ‘Ring Out, Solstice Bells’, complete with nice Tull discography inner, picture sleeve with song hype sticker. The sleeve shows very little wear with just a little creasing to the inner, whilst the vinyl is Near Mint £125

Caravan – If I Could Do It All Over Again, I’d Do It All Over You: 1970 UK 8-track stereo LP, the second album by the Canterbury scene forerunners which they named after a Spike Milligan quote, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear, mostly to the unlaminted back and the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few very light cosmetic scuffs to show for its forty five years £125
