Nine Inch Nails will be releasing the third in the trilogy of EP’s later this year.
After releasing Not The Actual Events and Add Violence in 2016 and 2017, respectively, the third installment is due sometime by the end of June.
“We started out with a rigid concept, having not written them all,” Reznor explained to 6 Music. “As we finished Add Violence we found ourselves… it felt too predictable. It felt like we were forcing things. Musically and storytelling-wise. The reason this has been delayed is because it took us a while for—what has become the third EP—to reveal itself to us.”
It comes after the news that Nine Inch Nails will play two special UK shows this year. They will headline the Southbank Centre on June 22nd as part of Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival, and the Royal Albert Hall on June 24th.
