The Cure, David Bowie, Prince and more among this year’s Record Store Day Releases

It’s that time of year where record collectors eagerly await the announcement of the limited edition titles that will be made available for Record Store Day in April.

This year’s announcement has seen the number of releases grow once more, with exclusive released by The Cure, David Bowie, Prince, Courtney Barnett, Led Zeppelin, and dozens more. The entire list, along with the 240 participating stores, can be found on the official Record Store Day website.

The list features four David Bowie releases, including his self-titled album, a 12″ single of the previously unreleased full-length demo of Let’s Dance, and more. 1999 by Prince will be available on vinyl for the first time since 1983, a Cure compilation with 16 new mixes by Robert Smith, Arcade Fire will issue their self-titled EP from 2002 for the first time on vinyl, and the National release a live rendition of their debut album, Boxer, recorded in concert in Brussels in 2017.

This year’s ambassadors for Record Store Day are hip hop duo, Run The Jewels, and it takes place on April 21.
