You can see our top three highlights below, which include a first issue of Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin with the rare Belly Band, an ABBA , and a first issue of Blues from Laurel Canyon by John Mayall. Head to our store to see our full listing of vinyl rarities and collectables.
Led Zeppelin – Houses Of The Holy: 1973 UK first issue 8-track LP, gatefold picture sleeve with lyric inner and almost impossible to find outer sleeve belly band. Although there is a very small split to the Bellyband it does otherwise remain in superb shape, which is no mean feat considering how few copies of this surface with an intact Bellyband in any shape or form, the sleeve shows virtually no trace of wear & the vinyl too remains really nice with only a couple of light spindle marks on the labels to show only light play. An oustanding copy after over forty five years in the wild, with no need to upgrade £495
ABBA – The Complete Studio Recordings Box Set: Rare 2005 UK Limited Deluxe Edition ELEVEN disc box set comprising digitally remastered issues of their eight studio albums expanded with B-sides and alternate language versions and a Bonus CD containing a selection of rarities, most of which were originally released after the band’s heyday plus two NTSC DVDs featuring all the promo videos ever released by the band, ‘The History’ documentary which covers the overview of the ABBA story and a previously unreleased concert, which was originally a part of the television special ‘Dick Cavett Meets ABBA’. Complete with two hardback picture and lyric books, all eleven discs remain in BRAND NEW condition housed within the lavish blue suede-effect box which remains SEALED within its hype-stickered original shrinkwrap! £350
John Mayall – Blues From Laurel Canyon: 1968 UK first issue 12-track stereo LP, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside & WITHOUT die cut mono/stereo hole. This would have had mere weeks in the shops before being replaced with the normal ‘first’. How many were produced, we don’t know, but in thirty plus years of trading we’ve only ever seen one before £295
