A reissue of the debut Sun Kil Moon album, Ghosts of the Great Highway, is due to arrive on February 16.
Out of print for many years and commanding a high price in collecting circles, the album was originally released in 2003 through Caldo Verde Records. It was Mark Kozelek’s first release after disbanding the beloved ’90s slowcore band, Red House Painters.
As well as the stunning Carry Me, Ohio and Lily and Parrots, the Rough Trade reissue will also include the haunting acoustic version of Gentle Moon, which appeared on the original release of Ghosts of the Great Highway.
Pre-orders are available now.
