Miles Davis and John Coltrane’s final tour featured on upcoming release

Miles Davis and John Coltrane’s final tour will be the focus of a forthcoming ‘Bootleg Series’ release, The Final Tour: Bootleg Series Vol. 6.

The four-disc set will be released March 23rd, and collects five concerts that the legendary trumpeter and saxophonist performed together during their 1960 Jazz At The Philharmonic European Tour. The shows were the final time Coltrane served as Davis’ sideman that bore classic LPs such as ‘Round About Midnight, Milestones and Kind of Blue.

The set will be released in both digital and physical formats, and is available to pre-order now.
