New David Bowie documentary due in the new year

A new David Bowie documentary that looks into the final years of the singers life is due to be aired in January on HBO.

David Bowie: The Last Five Years was put together by Francis Wheatly, and looks at the singer’s final chapter after a long hiatus to create two albums and while battling an illness that would take his life just two days after 2016’s Blackstar was released.

“He wanted to make his final act one to remember,” says Whately. “And one way of coping with the pain of the treatment and knowing what was going to happen was to keep himself occupied.”

Bowie sadly passed away on January 10th, 2016.

  1. The name is actually Whately, he whom directed the previous documentary titled “Five Years”, as broadcast on UK’s BBC2, on 25 May 2013.

  2. Is this supposed to be news?
This has been broadcast four times already by BBC2 earlier this year in January & February.
