Lou Donaldson – Gravy Train: 1961 US first issue 7-track Mono LP on the ‘New York USA’ label, with ‘RVG’ & ear logo etched into the runoff area, complete with catalogue inner, front laminated pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little corner scuffing & minor shelfwear to the back slick & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play.

Albert Ayler – New York Eye & Ear Control: 1966 US three-part stereo LP on the New York based Avant-Garde & Free-Jazz label, ESP-Disk, recorded July 17th, 1964, by New York artist Michael Snow for use as the soundtrack to his film. Also stars Don Cherry, John Tchicai, Roswell Rudd, Gary Peacock & Sonny Murray, great pasted picture sleeve with label catalogue pictorial on the back. This copy originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. Both the sleeve & vinyl are Excellent to Near Mint with few signs of wear or play.

Per Husby Septett – Peacemaker: Rare 1977 Norwegian-only 9-track LP, a beautiful Euro jazz winner released in very limited numbers by the student society in Trondheim, Norway. Comes housed in a wonderful looking, unique & fully textured picturesleeve. The title piece is a deep, reflective modal number in the Miles tradition & ‘Adgang F.’ is THE standout Jazz-Dance tune. There was a limited CD re-release of this album years ago but with inferior artwork. The sound quality was no match for the original vinyl release either! This example originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross. The sleeve is Excellent with just the lightest spot of discolouring around the edge & the vinyl is super clean & grades Excellent, with only a few mild paper hairlines not affecting play. Recommended.

Rosemary Squires – If He Walked Into My Life: Extremely rare 1967 UK ‘A’ label demonstration sample vinyl 7″ for the unreleased single, with planned release date of 1.9.67 on the intact four prong centre, also featuring Maybe You’ll Be There, Columbia company die cut paper sleeve.
