THE DAMNED New Rose (Rare original 1977 French 2-track Skydog label wide centre vinyl 7″ single also including Help. Complete with the original unique black & white ‘group shot’ picture sleeve designed by Bruno Caruso – this sleeve design is completely different to any other issue. The sleeve has some light foxing and the vinyl has just a few light scuffs, but remains in excellent condition. Overall an excellent copy of this now hard to find release DAM001)
THE DAMNED Don’t Cry Wolf (Rare 1977 Belgian wide centred <b><font color=gold>YELLOW VINYL</b></font> 7″ single, also featuring One Way Love, manufactured in very limited numbers. The thin cover has all the characteristics of a vintage punk sleeve with some corner creasing from ring wear, a few thumbnail splits in the top edge but only a little mild discolouring, & is a unique ‘ink pen’ design with unspoilt artwork. The vinyl appears Excellent to Near Mint with little evidence of playCOU/B/BUY24)
THE DAMNED Slash Magazine Issue 1, May 1977 “Mayday” (Vintage May 1977 ‘Volume One Number One’ of the Slash magazine newspaper, which offered a totally unauthorized archive of the punk explosion both sides of the pond, as & when it happened, with this issue drawing its focus on The Damned. Contains an exclusive interview with the band & a great front cover silhouette image of David Vanian. This is a mint archive copy from dead stock sealed in 1993 by Mob Disc with a ’93’ dated dollar price sticker attached to the outer shrink, recently picked on our US travels, it remains unopened & in pristine condition.
