GRACIOUS! This Is… Gracious!! (Archive Quality 1971 UK 5-track LP, the second & last album by the British Progressive Rock band, packed with Mellotron action & the bleak dystopian narrative of ‘Blood Red Sun’… these guys were originally called ‘Satan’s Disciples’ in the sixties! Most copies that surface for this title have a black label. This is the dark blue label version that was released in parallel, with the same adverts on the back cover & machine stamped 1Y/1 – 2Y/1 matrices & ‘420’ British country code in the run-outs. Both the fully laminated picture sleeve & the vinyl are stunning near mint. The vinyl appears near ‘as new’. Recommended. This wonderful sculpture was created by Spanish artist, Francisco Ramo, and faithfully recreated by Austin Sculpture on behalf of Warner Brothers. Weighing in at 12lb/6kg, and measuring 9½” in height and 5″ at the base, this amazing piece was issued to promote the release of Van Halen’s eighth studio album, OU812, the logo of which is featured on the base, alongside that of the Warner Brothers label. This example has been handled with the utmost care & stored away by its one & only label exec owner for the past 29 years. A fantastic example of this rarity with no blemishes, chips or cracks. Only the second example we have bought and quite simply the best on the market in such outstanding condition. This will not hang around, unlike its subject matter! As cool as it gets. Re, THE YARDBIRDS Five Live Yardbirds Japan LP – you take one look at that cover and you can tell this could never be a 1965 issue, as it depicts how Clapton looked years later. This is a later reissue.
