BLACK SABBATH Master Of Reality: Ultra Rare 1971 UK first pressing 8-track black ‘swirl’ label vinyl LP with the all important 1Y1/2Y1 matrices and matching inverted swirl inner. Even more important to make this a true complete collector’s classic is the incredibly rare fold-out poster, in the fully laminated & embossed box picture sleeve, see more pics and full info here
THE SMITHS The Queen Is Dead: A super rare 1986 UK original Rough Trade 23″ x 11″ unfolded promotional poster for the album release. As seminal album images go this has to be one of the best, featuring the now iconic image of Morrissey’s ‘cover star’ Alain Delon in the Frenech noir classic ‘The Unvanquished’. Also includes band logo and title printed in green text across the top, and format information (and 16th June 1986 release date too!) printed along the bottom. More info here
FRANK ZAPPA Paper Sleeve Collection: Quantity of Fifteen, yes 15 2008 Japanese promo sample issues of the limited edition CD albums, a total of Seventeen discs and 183 tracks, issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release date, each disc has a custom stamped inner rim with each in their own mini replica LP style card picture sleeve, with a lyric insert and promo stickered ‘American Compser 1940-1993’ series obi-strip, more info here
