JOHNNY HODGES The Complete Verve Johnny Hodges Small Group Sessions 1956-61: Limited Edition 2000 US 95-track Mosaic audiophile 6-CD box set, collecting many fine tracks, namely all of Hodges’ small-group sessions recorded for Verve between 1956 & 1961 (excepting some selections whose masters were lost), with a number of sidemen on loan from Ellington. Comes complete with a numbered twenty page illustrated booklet featuring stunning black & white session photographs including portraits & pictures with extensive notes on the tracks & a complete session discography, all housed in a beautiful textured outer black box with front pasted picture cover. Each CD comes with an individual credits & track listed picture sleeve booklet, all mounted in a robust plastic backing tray – A wonderful item that remains in Excellent condition with little sign of wear or play, more info here

MODERN JAZZ QUARTET Space: Rare Japanese Apple label 5-track stereo LP pressed on RED VINYL by Toshiba Musical Industries, housed in a colour pasted gatefold picture sleeve with Japanese text biography insert. The sleeve has just a little minor corner scuffing and, with the labels free from spindle wear, the vinyl is in near mint condition. A top copy of this rarity, more info here
