Here at eil.com we realise not everyone’s pockets are sooo deep they can stump up the readies for that uber-collectable slab of vinyl, CD boxset, vintage memorabilia etc etc….with that in mind we’ve put together this new weekly ‘Top 5’ of some of the more affordable collectables that pass through the doors each week at eil Towers, no items will be more than £50, here’s a few to whet the whistle, to see them all click here

LEONARD COHEN I’m Your Man: 1988 UK red label 8-track LP, a standout album in the Cohen back catalogue, including First We Take Manhattan & Take This Waltz, glossy picture sleeve with full lyrics on the back. The cover shows just a little ring wear & the vinyl appears near mint, more info here
IAN DURY New Boots & Panties: 1977 UK limited edition 10-track LP pressed on Gold Vinyl, double-stickered picture sleeve complete with photo montage card inner. The sleeve shows just some light wear, whilstthe vinyl shows only little evidence of play, more info here
GUNS N ROSES Appetite For Destruction: 1987 UK 12-track vinyl LP pressed in Germany for the UK market. The debut studio album by American hard rock band produced by Mike Clink, including the singles Sweet Child O’ Mine, WelcomeTo The Jungle, Nightrain and Paradise City. Comes in the original picture sleeve featuring artwork based on the Robert Williams painting ‘Appetite For Destruction’, depicting a robot rapist about to be punished by a metal avenger complete with original lyricinner sleeve & cross logo sticker. This sleeve was withdrawn after several music retailers refused to stock the album. The sleeve has some minor general wear, the inner has no spilts or rips, the bonus sticker remains unusued, and the vinyl shows only light signs of play. Overall an excellent example, hard to find with the bonus sticker, more info here
PETE TOWNSHEND Who Came First: 1972 UK 9-track LP, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve complete with the rare 12″ x 24″ thick card stock fold-out artwork insert. More info here
JOHN COOPER CLARKE Ou Est La Maison De Fromage?: Original 1978 UK Rabid Records issue 23-track vinyl LP with ‘A Porky Prime Cut’ in the run-out grooves, features material recorded at performances and rehearsals in Manchester, picture sleeve. More info here
