The Starman hid even more surprises in the vinyl release of his final album.
In May, it was discovered that if you expose the vinyl release of David Bowie‘s final album Blackstar to light, it reveals the image of a galaxy. However, the man who designed the release with the late star now claims the vinyl contains further secret surprises that have yet to be uncovered by fans.
“There’s actually a few other things as well,” designer Jonathan Barnbrook told Mary Ann Hobbs on BBC Radio 6yesterday. “Actually, there’s one big thing which people haven’t discovered yet on the album. Let’s just say, if people find it, they find it, and if they don’t, they don’t. And remember what Bowie said about not explaining everything.”
“There are a lot of other things going on that aren’t at the surface. I do hope people see them. Not necessarily straight away.” Time to dig your copy back out and get probing, Bowie fans. Listen to the clip on the BBC web site here.
