MILES DAVIS Birth Of The Cool: Rare original 1956 UK 11-track mono vinyl LP on the turquoise Capitol label, with machine stamped ‘-1N’ matrices in the run-offs. Features early 1949 to early 1950 recording sessions that marked a turning point in jazz towards a more stylistic sound. Includes the masterful ‘Move’ & ‘Boplicity’. This particular copy was used for export; the laminated sleeve, with its scalloped flipbacks, has a Dutch ‘Phenix Verzameling’ shaped sticker on the back with the Capitol label amongst its company logos, more info here
MILES DAVIS Bitches Brew: 1999 Austrian 7-track 2CD including bonus track Feio, not on the original 1970 album. 28-bit digital remastered version featuring musicians Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Dave Holland, Jack DeJonette, Joe Zawinul and many others.
