Not only has HRB (His Royal Bobness) just been awarded the Nobel Prize For Literature but we’ve also acquired a rather tasty Bob Dylan collection with some very nice early presses of his seminal ’60s releases – Here’s our current Top 5 vinyl records from the one and only Robert Zimmerman, to see more click here
BOB DYLAN The Times They Are A-Changin’: Incredible early ‘folk’ outing that has a lot more to offer than the title track. Early 70s UK issue of the 1964 10-track stereo LP with smooth plain orange labels & matt picture sleeve with ‘4 Outlined Epitaphs’ on the back. The sleeve shows some light shelf wear and despite a few faint spindle marks indicating play, the vinyl remains in superb condition with very little to indicate play, more info hereBOB DYLAN The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan: 1967 UK smooth label issue of the 1963 13-track mono vinyl LP, E.J. Day & Co. front laminated pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with mild age yellowing at the edges of theunlaminated back & the vinyl is superb, with just the odd faint hairline visible if held under strong light – a wonderful copy of this late sixties mono issue! More info hereBOB DYLAN John Wesley Harding: Rare 1968 UK first pressing 12-track MONO LP on the first label variant with rough centre & without ‘ Mono’ logo to the left, front laminated picture sleeve, more info hereBOB DYLAN Blonde On Blonde: 1966 first UK issue 14-track stereo double vinyl LP with ‘rough’ textured labels, front laminated, stickered gatefold picture sleeve with internal flipbacks & nine photographs inside including that of Claudia Cardinale, more info hereBOB DYLAN Highway 61 Revisited: Rare 1965 first UK issue 9-track mono LP on the ‘rough’ textured orange label, front laminated picture sleeve with rounded flipbacks. The sleeve shows just some light corner wear and a little foxing along the top edge and reverse and is otherwise excellent retaining a wonderful bright sheen to the iconic front image. All text remains clearly legible, including along the spine, the flipbacks are secure & the print unblemished, more info here
