A long-lost acetate (demo disc) given to Cilla Black by the Beatles in 1964 has been found by Black’s family – the song was a top 10 hit for Cilla but the acetate features McCartney demoing the song for for Cilla.
The disc will go on sale on Saturday August 27 at the Beatles Memorabilia Auction in the Paul McCartney Auditorium of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
It is estimated to fetch between £15,000 and £20,000.
