…..just landed at eil.com are these superb rarities from the Finnish power metal act ‘Nightwish’, a symphonic metal band from Kitee, Finland. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and lead singer Tarja Turunen. They are the third-best-selling band and musical entity in Finland with certified sales of nearly 900,000 certified copies. The group is also the most successful Finnish band worldwide, selling more than 8 million records and receiving more than 60 gold and platinum awards, having released five Number 1 albums and thirteen Number 1 singles.
NIGHTWISH Once (Circa 2004/5 UK black cotton short sleeved t-shirt featuring the album artwork printed on the front, with ‘Beauty Comes With Dark Thoughts’ printed across the back. This would have been official merchandise and was purchased & worn at one of the bands shows during the tour, however what makes this example that little bit more special is the fact it has been fully signed by Tarja Turunen, Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, Marco Hietala and Jukka Nevalainen across the printed area on the front in a black marker pen. The original vocalist Tarja left the band not long after in 2006 to pursue a solo career. Obviously not one to be worn but would be ideal to have framed & displayed, and as a bonus we are including a copy of the ‘Strictly Limited Gold-Award-Edition’ of the Once album which has been mounted on a backing card ready to be framed, more info here
