When you strip away all the fancy bits, here’s what’s left.
It might look like a wooden chopping board, some plastic and a piece of string but this is actually a stripped down turntable. With an emphasis on linear movement, the minimalist concept seeks to reveal the inner workings of a turntable, presenting parts that would normally be shielded from the user.
“While modern audio systems hide from the user what is going on inside them, the turntable reveals the way it works,” says designer Yakir Buaron.
