THE BEATLES Portfolio Of Six Portrait Prints
Limited 1995 UK portfolio of six portrait prints in striking monochrome, originally only available to subscribers of The Observer for a short period of time. These mint condition prints measure 12″ by 10″ & are the work of photographer Jane Bown. Jane photographed The Beatles for the newspaper in November 1963 at a cinema in London’s East Ham; allowed backstage with her Rolleiflex in the long wait before the concert, she was theonly photographer present. Amongst the six photos include rare & exclusive individual shots of The Fab Four, never previously seen, with the portrait of John Lennon personally hand signed by Jane. Complete with the Editor of The Observer’s introductory letter from ’95, these were limited to a small run of just 1000 & are now a serious investment piece.
All the potential for a wonderful Christmas present!
