The Record Album has been in Brighton since 1940 and George Ginn who owns and runs the shop, has been there since 1962! I used to live in Brighton and would visit the shop regularly and listen to George quietly rant about how terrible CDs are to anyone who wanted to listen (and a few that didn’t), he supplies soundtracks to stage and screen and past customers have included Thom Yorke/Radiohead, Damon Albarn, The Avalanches, The Coral and countless sample hungry musicians/DJ’s – enjoy!
