LOU DONALDSON The Natural Soul: 1986 US 6-Track Vinyl LP, Direct Metal Mastered reissue of The Natural Soul, originally released in 1963 on Blue Note Records. A standout session from alto saxophonist Lou Donaldson, the album captures the transition toward a more groove-oriented soul-jazz sound, featuring a stellar line-up including Grant Green on guitar and Big John Patton on organ. The result is a laid-back yet deeply funky set, highlighted by extended, bluesy improvisations and infectious rhythms. Housed in a matte picture sleeve complete with the classic Blue Note ‘Story’ inner sleeve. The sleeve shows some corner wear and minor shelfwear, whilst the vinyl displays only very minimal signs of play, retaining a clean surface and grading strong Excellent condition.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN The River: 1980 UK 20-track double LP on the graduated orange label, single pocket picture sleeve complete with both illustrated inners plus the original fold-out lyric & discography inserts. The sleeve shows some general storage/shelfwear along with the inserts, whilst the vinyl has only some light cosmetic marks. A very respectable complete copy.
FLEETWOOD MAC Greatest Hits: 1971 UK first press 12-track LP on the plain orange label, featuring tracks from the more bluesy Peter Green period of the band, including the classics Albatross, Oh Well, The Green Manalishi & more, gatefold pocket picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in Excellent condition with few signs of play.
