PHIL COLLINS Daryl Stuermer Road Case (1980s UK backline-only case as used by Daryl during Phil’s tours; measuring 74cm x 63cm x 57cm [standing 71cm in height on castors]. Featuing the Phil Collin’s signature logo to the front with ‘Daryl Stuermer’ stencilled underneath, robustly constructed with the butterfly locks still functioning. This item was used on the road and comes with all the original bumps and scrapes that one would expect such an item to sustain; the interior is foamlined, which due to its age is breaking down and we would suggest should be replaced before any further heavy use. TRAVELING WILBURYS The Traveling Wilburys (Fantastic 2009 UK Genesis Publications 144-page numbered limited Deluxe Edition large format [240mm x 320mm] superior quality book featuring over 9000 words & 211 photographs, mostly previously unpublished, including out-takes from official shoots by Neal Preston, Alberto Tolot and Caroline Greyshock, with intimate shots of the Wilburys writing, rehearsing and recording, including an unprecedented collection of Polaroid snapshots by the Wilburys themselves. Interwoven with drawings, log book entries and handwritten lyric sheets, The Wilburys tell their tale in their own words, with the occasional help of drummer Jim Keltner and others. Each copy is hand signed by band member and co-producer Jeff Lynne. All copies in the edition are craftsman bound in an Italian linen matched to the jacket Nelson Wilbury [George Harrison] wore in the video for ‘Handle With Care’. Each book is accompanied with a facsimile print of this song’s lyrics, handwritten by George, exclusive to the limited edition. Deluxe copies, like this one, are a beautiful example of the bookbinders craft, fully bound at the authors’ preference in two faux leathers with an onlay on the front cover, hand-tooling and gilded page edging. Each copy contains a photographic print with a group portrait by Alberto Tolot, which is hand-numbered & embossed with the signatures of all five Wilburys. Deluxe copies are housed in a hand-crafted travel case, bound in brown and yellow tweed and lined with felt. Paul Weller’s visual chronicle of his entire solo career, spanning over 20 years. Annotated with his own text captions, Weller is retracing his journey in 800 iconic but mostly unseen & previously unpublished photographs. Quarter bound in red leather with Heavyweight 200gsm archival grade matt art paper, with silver blockingand page edging. Signed by Paul Weller & Lawrence Watson, hand numbered 943. Along with a seperate heavy duty folding housing the limited edition 10″ Red Vinyl disc, all housed within a custom Red acrylic slipcase and uniquely finished drawstring bag.
