QUEEN Killer Queen (Incredible 2003 UK Genesis Publications ‘Official Signed Limited Edition’ 212 page 14″ x 10″ hardback book, featuring the photographs of Mick Rock and original text by Brian May, Mary Austin and Mick Rock, with quotes of the period from Freddie, Brian, Roger and John. This unique art volume is produced to the very highest standards, master-printed on to 11 different paper stocks including acetate, trace and 200gsm matt art stock paper. Bound in quarter leather andbuckskin and housed in silkscreened buckram box. This is signed by Mick Rock, Brian May & Roger Taylor)
JOHN’S CHILDREN Desdemona (Incredibly rare 1967 original UK promotional-only poster for the cult ’60s act that featured a very young Marc Bolan on guitar and vocals. Issued to record shops in very limited quantities ahead of release in May 1967, this poster measures 20″ x 20″, an ideal size for framing and display. The striking monochrome image of all four members (that’s Marc, bottom right btw!) features the band name, song title and ‘It’s a Track Record’ text running along the bottom edge. Stored rolled by its one careful owner and with just one 5mm edge tear to the bottom it remains in wonderful condition overall for a 53 year old poster. Unrepeatable!).
LED ZEPPELIN The Photographers Led Zeppelin (Rare 1995 US out-of-print 335-page 12″ x 9″ deluxe hardback photo book compiled by Ross Halfin & published by Henry Rollin’s 2.13.61 press, featuring a compilation of photographs that personifies the mystique about the band but at the same time illustrates their human side. The book contains twenty three chapters, with each chapter featuring a different photographer’s work with the band. The amazing high quality book has a silver embossed black linen effect cover, with matching rigid outer slipcase solander box. Officially sanctioned by Jimmy Page & generally regarded as ‘Simply Amazing!’, this is one to have in the collection).
