PRINCE Purple Rain Avant de Dormir Promotional Bag (Highly unusual vintage 1984 surrealistic transparent PVC shopping bag, with inner lining of PVC. Between the two transparent walls is a plastic & fabric purple rose, a small open envelope, a notecard which reads “I Love You, Prince”, and a purple vinyl ‘Purple Rain’ LP record, the bottom third of which has been cut off, to make it sit properly in the bag. The bag was specially designed by the Milanese creative duo, Avant de Dormir, and is based on several other bags in a series that began in 1984. Their bags were acclaimed by the fashion press, and orders flooded in from all the major cities in the US. Their most famous creation involved a trout floating in water! This ‘Prince’ variation is believed to be one of only ten in existence, created for senior WEA executives to celebrate the release of Prince’s Purple Rain album in 1984. The world famous V&A Museum has fully documented one held in their collection, gifted to them by Moira Bellas of WEA Records. This amazing example remains intact and complete, with only minor discolouration to the PVC, inevitable after 36 years. A truly extraordinary rarity which we are pleased to offer for sale for the first time…!)

PRINCE 1999 – Super Deluxe (2019 UK/EU Super Deluxe Edition comprising 10-LPs & 1-DVD, representing the deepest dive to date into Prince’s vault and includes a total of 65 audio tracks across ten 180-gram vinyl records. The Super Deluxe Edition brings together all the audio material that Prince officially released in and around 1982, as well as 23 previously unissued studio tracks recorded between November 1981 and January 1983, and a complete live audio performance of the 1999tour recorded at the late show in Detroit, MI on November 30, 1982. In addition, the vinyl set also boasts a brand-new DVD containing another complete, previously unreleased concert from the 1999 tour, recorded in multi-cam live at the Houston Summit on December 29, 1982. The Super Deluxe Edition set also features Prince’s previously unseen handwritten lyrics for several songs from the era, including the hit “Little Red Corvette,” plus images of the analog tape reels from the vault and rare photography from Prince’s early ‘80s photographer, Allen Beaulieu. The set is completed with brand-new liner notes by longtime Rolling Stone critic David Fricke, revered Guns N’ Roses bassist and author Duff McKagan, Minneapolis historian and radio host Andrea Swensson, and Prince scholar Duane Tudahl. Brand new, unplayed, factory sealed inside its original outer card shipping box – highly recommended!).

PRINCE Sign O’ The Times (2020 UK/EU limited 13LP+DVD Super Deluxe Edition box set. This one-off manufacture Super Deluxe Edition will feature the classic album remastered for the very first time, 63 previously unreleased tracks, and apreviously unreleased 2+ hour video concert performance from Prince’s legendary vault that illuminates his wide-ranging and prolific creativity in this era. Following the successful release of the 1999 Super Deluxe Edition in the fall of 2019,the Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition represents the deepest dive to-date into Prince’s vault and includes a total of 92 audio tracks across thirteen LPs.
