From Planet Rock.
Alice Cooper has landed a starring role in an upcoming episode of Mickey and the Roadster Racers on the Disney Channel.
The Planet Rock DJ lends his voice and likeness to a character called Alistair Coop De Ville, who is an old friend of Goofy’s uncle and wears a trademark Alice Cooper top hat with a live snake inside it.
Set to air on Friday 5th July in the US, the episode called Goof Quest sees Alistair join forces with Goofy, his Uncle Goof, and Donald Duck as they embark on an epic quest to find treasure buried in the deep jungles of Peru.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, our Alice – real name Vincent Damon Furnier – said: “It’s so funny that they have a snake coming out of my top hat, the two things that Alice is known for.”
He added: “And it’s a non-threatening character. Generally, when I play parts in movies or TV, I’m always the villain. It’s kind of nice to not be the villain for once.”
Alice’s Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back Tour rolls into the UK in October 2019 with support from The Stranglers and MC50. Head to Planet Rock Tickets to check ticket availability.
