Nothing beats a strong, mood setting soundtrack to bring the best out of a movie. It could be a brooding, ominous score to a horror movie, an Ennio Morricone spaghetti western theme, or a synthwave science fiction score. No matter what the movie is, the soundtrack is key.
We see a few excellent soundtracks pass through our hands here, and below are just some of the latest arrivals. You can view our entire selection in our store now.
The Exorcist: 1974 UK Burbank label 10-track LP, featuring the gripping score to William Peter Blatty & William Friedkin’s classic horror movie, including excerpts from Tubular Bells performed by The Mystic Sounds, picturesleeve. The sleeve shows a little faint ring wear & edge scuffing, whilst the vinyl light paper scuffs not affecting play.
White Nights: 1985 German 10-track vinyl LP, featuring music from the soundtrack to the film, including tracks by Phil Collins & Marilyn Martin, Robert Plant, Chaka Khan and Lou Reed, housed in a glossy picture sleeve withalternate artwork showing close-ups of Mikhail Baryshnikov & Gregory Hines. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with some mild edge scuffing, whilst the vinyl is in superb barely played condition.
Where Eagles Dare: 1969 UK MGM yin yang label issue 10-track stereo LP, featuring music from the soundtrack to the film starring Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood & Mary Ure, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with pinched spine. The sleeve has a little creasing at a couple of the edges, however the vinyl remains in excellent condition with only light signs of play.
