The Modern Jazz Quartet – Under The Jasmin Tree: Rare 1968 UK first issue 4-track stereo LP with ‘Sold in The UK’ label text, complete with jet black company inner, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear and the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play – A wonderful copy and a gem for jazz and Apple collectors alike.
Lionel Hampton – The Lionel Hampton Quartet: Mid 50s UK factory sample stickered label 4-track mono vinyl LP, where Hamp escapes from his more usual big band setting to improvise & swing in fine company, also featuring Oscar Peterson on Piano, Ray Brown on Bass & Buddy Rich on Drums. The fully laminated scalloped flipback sleeve is in superb condition with just a little light shelfwear & a few spots of laminate lift, with the vinyl remaining immaculate.
Art Pepper + Eleven – Modern Jazz Classics: 1959 US 12-track Mono LP on a ‘Deep Groove’ Contemporary label featuring Art working in a ‘big band’ format with full horn section over piano, bass & drums, arranged by Marty Paich, pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play.
