Music industry soars in 2017 thanks to vinyl and streaming

iNews is reporting that the music industry saw a growth of 9.5% last year, with thanks being pointed towards the vinyl resurgence and digital streaming, as well as the rise of Grime music in the UK.

Industry body the BPI said 68.1 billion song streams were played in 2017, up 51.5%, driving the 9.5% overall rise in music consumption.
