THE DAVE BRUBECK QUARTET Time Out: Sealed Limited Edition 2002 US Classic Records audiophile issue of the classic 1959 7-track stereo LP, expertly remastered by Bernie Grundman & pressed on 200gram Quiex Super Vinyl, including the essential jazz hits Blue Rondo A La Turk & Take Five. Comes housed in a heavy duty deluxe picture sleeve, still in the unopened tearbag with the hype sticker attached. The vinyl is Mint & unplayed.
THELONIOUS MONK Genius Of Modern Music Volume One: 1984 French Direct Metal Mastering issue of the 1956 12-track mono LP, surely a ‘Top Ten’ in the history of jazz recordings, featuring the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic genius of Monk’s compositions, including ‘Round About Midnight, Off Minor, Epistrophy, Well You Needn’t, Humph & more, pasted picture sleeve reproducing the original album artwork. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with minor discolouration to the reverse& the vinyl remains Excellent with light signs of play.
RACHEL GOULD & CHET BAKER All Blues: 1979 French-only 7-track LP, a stunning album by vocalist Rachel Gould & trumpeter Chet Baker, recorded that year & released exclusively on the Bingow label. Also stars Henry Florens [piano], John Paul Florens [guitar], Jim Richardson [bass] & Tony Mann [drums], unique fully laminated picture sleeve. The cover is Excellent with just a little faint ring wear & the vinyl too grades Excellent with minimal sign of play.
