QUEEN Queen Rocks (1997 UK first issue limited edition 18-track double LP compilation pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl, including No-One But You [Only The Good Die Young], hype stickered deluxe gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed inside complete with tracklisting inners. The vinyl is a strong Excellent [a few faint hairlines in places] and the sleeve and inners are in Near Mint condition)
ED SHEERAN Want Some? (Exceptionally hard-to-find original 2007 UK 11-track CD on Ed Sheeran’s own Sheeran Lock label – issued years before his major-label breakthrough, back when he was still personally running his mail-order operation and sending these out himself. This is the first time we’ve ever had a copy, and given how few were made, it’s a real rarity. Although long overshadowed by his later chart-topping catalogue, this early independent release captures the raw charm and instinctive songwriting that would eventually resonate worldwide. Tracks like You Break Me, You Need A Haircut and Smile offer a fascinating glimpse of a young artist still shaping the sound that would define his career. Housed in its original barcoded digipak, the sleeve is in superb shape with minimal wear, and the disc remains in mint condition. Like all of Ed’s pre-‘+’ titles, it was never issued on streaming and is notoriously difficult to track down – a rare chance to own a genuine piece of Sheeran’s early history)
JEFF BECK Beck01 (Rare 2016 UK limited edition 352-page hard back book printed on Heavyweight 200gsm archival grade matt art paper, quarter bound by hand in Italian leather and aluminium, with silver page edging and hand tooling. A stamped metal front cover reproduces a Californian number plate from the year Beck was born, inset into the cover. The large format book is housed in an archival case, featuring a foil-blocked illustration inspired by Von Dutch’s legendary pinstriping designs. These were limited limited to 2,000 copies, and this example is number numbered 799, hand signed by Jeff Beck, with a special printed pull string bag. This example remains in a fantastic condition, and remains in the original card mailer!)
