Memorabilia has always been a big part of the music world, going back right back to the advent of record shops. Whether it was promotional only material that was distributed by labels, or weird and wonder items manufactured by the bands or labels for general sale, they make for nice collector’s pieces and can really finish off a collection.
We see all kind of memorabilia pass through our hands and below are just a few of the highlights that we have in stock at eil.com
LED ZEPPELIN Earl’s Court 75 (Rare original 1975 UK 16 page concert programme for the legendary shows at Earl’s Court, measuring 8″ x 11½” in size featuring the ‘The Led Zeppelin Story’, pages dedicated to each band member & a great ‘Physical Rocket’ steam engine cover image. This example remains in a fantastic condition, with only light wear or signs of age. As an added bonus this example also includes a double spread advert for the gigs taken from Sounds on March 15th 1975. A fantastic example!)
LADY GAGA The Monster Ball Tour Bundle (This bundle brings together a set of original merch items from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour at the O2 Arena, London 10th May 2010 – a landmark night from one of the most ambitious pop tours of its era. Praised for its theatrical scale, flawless performance energy, and the intimate piano interlude that revealed the raw musicianship behind Gaga’s avant-pop persona. It remains a pivotal moment in her evolution. Included are the original showticket, a Club Pass laminate with Lady Gaga-branded lanyard, a Haus of Gaga diamanté dog-tag-style necklace that cleverly doubles as a watch [complete with branded velvet drawstring bag] and an MP3 speaker designed to resemble a miniature amplifier. This exciting bundle is perfect for those who want a piece of Gaga history)
THE MONKEES Monkees Monthly (A great consecutive run of Twenty Eight issues of the A5 monthly magazine dedicated to Davy, Mike, Peter and Micky, by Beat Publications [the same company behind the hugely successful ‘Beatles Book’] and packed with news, exclusive features and photos, letters and more. There are some isolated instances on issues 3,4 and 6 being in ‘Good’ condition with scuffing to the front and back covers and some tearing to the internal pages. Other issues display writing and creasing to the covers, however nearly all issues remain in superb condition with no loose pages – a fabulous collection which takes you right back into the heart of Monkeemania!)
