RONNIE WOOD How Can It Be? (Stunning 2015 UK Deluxe Limited Edition Genesis Publications book. Before he was a Rolling Stone, a Face, or a member of the Jeff Beck Group, Ronnie Wood flew the nest aged just 17 with his first band, the Birds. Featuring cameos by legends such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Rod Stewart and Pete Townshend, Ronnie’s adventures on the road to superstardom were handwritten in his private diary of 1965. Now, celebrating 50 years in rock ’n’ roll, Ronnie Woodguides us through the pages of his rediscovered journal. With his entertaining new commentary, hand-drawn illustrations, and rare photos and memorabilia, Ronnie’s trip through the Sixties is introduced by his Stones bandmate Charlie Watts. The book is fully bound in leather with gilt tooling and page edging, signed and hand numbered inside by Ronnie Wood, limited to 1615 copies, with only 350 Deluxe copies, this copy is number 207. Housed in a folding solander case, with a hidden compartment housing a 7″ Picture Disc single featuring two versions of “How Can It Be?” from 1965 and the present day. This edition also includes and signed and numbered 10″ x 8″ art print, along with loose-leaf facsimile items, including a fold-out poster, night club tickets and photographs. This is in a blue pull string custom printed cloth bag, still in the original stickered & numbered mailer box with a sealed copy of the standard release book along with promo mailout material to the original owner. Another fantastic publication from Genesis!).MARCELLA DETROIT Jewel (2024 UK/EU 30th Anniversary Edition 13-track LP reissue of her 1994 second studio album, now pressed on Sapphire Jewel Vinyl, including the singles I Believe, I’m No Angel, Perfect World and Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing {Duet with Elton John}. Complete with a bonus autographed art print, the picture sleeve comes with the printed inner and is factory sealed with hype sticker).BRIAN WILSON That Lucky Old Sun (Stunning UK Deluxe Limited Edition 56-page book, with pages measuring 190mm x 265mm in size, Bound in blue cloth with orange page edging. Including illustrated new interviews with Brian and an essay by noted author Harvey Kubernik. Brian speaks at length about his life and work today, reflecting on his compositions and inspirations. The 12 new artworks are published as individual plates with a preface by Peter who describes the work in his own words. This is signed by Brian Wilson & Sir Peter Blake, and hand numbered with this edition numbered 450. Safely preserved in a hand-crafted, folding solander box, made in Italy and bound in two cloths – colours of which represent the hues of the Californian sky. The box is decoratively blocked in silver and gold foils with a portrait of Brian inset on the inside cover. Also includes 12 original artist prints, three facsimile music sheets and lyrics to ‘Midnight’s Another Day’, a genuine VIP pass from the Brian Wilson concerts of ‘That Lucky Old Sun’ and the CD pressing of the album. In brand-new condition, in an unopened ‘New MusicFriday’ stickered re-sealable bag!).LOU REED The Raven (Autographed 2003 US first edition 116-page hardback book featuring lyrics from the concept album, recounting the short stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe through word and song, and was based on his 2000 opera co-written with Robert Wilson. The black hessian bound book has silver gilt text on the front & spine, and housed in a plain black slipcase. This was bought in New York at an in-store signing event, this has been boldly signed by Lou Reed ina black marker pen and hand numbered 140, with only 250 copies of the first edition manufactured.
