Nothing looks better than some box sets propping the end – or beginning – of a record collection. Whether it’s singles box sets, rare and unreleased music, artist collections or expanded versions of classic albums, we have a constant rotating stock of superb titles.
Below are a few highlights, and you can view our full range at eil.com
DAVID BOWIE The Man Who Fell To Earth (2016 German 2-CD/2-LP box set, comprising the first ever release of the soundtrack to the film that starred David Bowie, spread across two CDs [25 tracks] & two vinyl LPs [19 tracks], with the bulk of themusic largely composed by Stomu Yamash’ta & John Phillips. Each part is housed in its respective picture sleeve. Also includes a 48-page hardback book with an essay & unseen photos from the film plus an A1-sized poster. All housed inside a 12″ square slipcase style picture box – still sealed from new in its hype stickered shrinkwrap!).
THE BEATLES Let It Be (Incredibly rare 1970 UK 12-track LP box set also including the 160-page softback photo book ‘The Beatles Get Back’, packed with colour/B&W photos & text from the film, which was never sold separately, all housed in a superb laminated outer Garrod & Lofthouse picture slipcase box with ‘Patents Pending’ lettering. This copy is complete with the rare ‘These Fine Albums’ Apple Catalogue poster PXS1)
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Live 1975-1985 (1986 UK 40-track FIVE VINYL LP featuring a collection of digitally mixed & mastered live versions of his greatest hits. Complete with 36-page illustrated lyric booklet and individual picture inners [with some showing a little shelfwear to the edges], the hype stickered glossy picture box has a little edge scuffing but all five discs look barely played. An excellent copy of some of Springsteen’s best work not to be missed out on!).
