It’s strange to think that out there in the world there are U2 branded disco balls, miniature toy cars emblazoned with Madonna’s logo, or even prophylactics from dutch metal band, Hammerfall. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the memorabilia that record companies have produced to help promote artists on their roster, and if you are looking for that interesting piece to add to your collection then you have come to the right place.
We’ve picked out a few of the rare and interesting highlights we have in stock, and you can find the full catalogue of what’s available over at eil.com
THE BEATLES Scrap Book (Official mid-1960’s Nems Enterprises unused 10″x10″ empty scrapbook, featuring head images of George, Paul, Ringo & John to the front and 32 blank pages inside. This copy comes with a collection of over FIFTY clippingsfrom early 1960s newspapers and periodicals concerned with the Beatles, which were stored unglued inside the book. A fantastic item, surely one of only a few which have escaped unused and still in amazing condition).
THE FALL Perverted By Language (Very rare tour poster for the 1983 German ‘Perverted By Language’ tour, featuring the surreal album artwork by Danish born painter, Claus Castenskiold, with the artist name in black & the album title in purple along the top. There are also two ads for the German releases of the albums, Hex Enduction Hour & Room To Live, bottom left. This thirty-five year-old poster remains in wonderful condition with just some minimal edge wear over the years, perfect for framing!).
