An album in three parts [Building A City / Building A Myth / Bright Magic], the fourth studio album from the London-based musical group is their most ambitious undertaking yet, bringing you to Europe’s heart and de facto capital, the cultural and political metropolis that is the’Haupstadt’ of the Federal Republic of Germany – Berlin. Housed in a hardback book picture sleeve printed on high quality matt art paper. Includes a fixed folder with another exclusive book of photos from the recording sessions at Hansa Studios in Berlin. The discs are in four gatefoldcard wallet sleeves, each with a 12-page booklet, along with a 16-page 12″ square booklet featuring an essay by Sid Smith, new interviews with producer, engineer, band members, eyewitnesses and others, previously unseen archive visual material, and the complete band date sheet with contemporary critical reaction. Also contains two black & white 10″ x 8″ band photos, an A3 size colour poster accompanying ‘Live at the Venue’, and an individually numbered certificate of authentication signed by Bill Bruford, all housed in a 12″ square black box with silver foil embossed detailing on the lid).
EVANESCENCE The Ultimate Collection (Rare 2017 UK limited edition 6-LP collection pressed on audiophile quality 180g vinyl, housed in a wonderfully designed stickered die-cut heavyweight outer box with each LP in its own picture sleeve with lyric inners. Also includes a 52-page casebound book with rare photos, handwritten lyrics and artwork from Amy Lee’s journals. The collection includes the studio albums Fallen, The Open Door and Evanescence plus the on vinyl for the first-time the Origin album, alongside Lost Whispers [a career spanning B-Sides collection], also includes two new vinyl exclusives: Lost Whispers [Studio Version] and an acoustic update of Even In Death. The box displays some minor general wear with a small tear to the attached tracklisting back inlay, and a few creases to the corners. A couple of the sleeve inside has a little crease to the corners, but the vinyl remains in a ‘neat mint’ condition. But that is not all, this is one of the first 400 copies released, and includes a bonus sticker & poster, both autographed by Amy Lee!).
