Jazz is one of the most influential, timeless and enduring genres in music. The structuring and songwriting styles from jazz has been used in other genres such as rock, metal, hip hop and funk throughout the years. It can range from subtle and relaxing, to eclectic free jazz freakouts and has something for every music fan. We scour collections to find both iconic releases and rare obscurities to give our customers a wide range to choose from.
The three highlights we have picked out below are just the tip of the iceberg from our selection, which can be viewed in full over at eil.com
SONNY ROLLINS Tenor Madness (Rare 1957 UK 5-track vinyl LP on the ‘deep groove’ beige Esquire label, a wonderful recording featuring John Coltrane, Philly Joe Jones, Red Garland and Paul Chambers, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. Only the second copy we’ve ever seen!.
